Lisa Cartwright – "I decided to volunteer my service to S and F Athletes because I have a strong desire to help others help themselves. I believe in this organization’s creed and their efforts in assisting others so they can become independent, fulfilled, functioning members of our society."
Lori Sims – "As a high school teacher, I see boys who need a strong, positive role model in their lives. Richard and Henry provide a great example of what today's young men need, which is why they have my support."
Michelle Newton – "I am a long-time resident of Brazos Valley who believes in giving back to our community. I have volunteered my services helping for the past 14 years. I was approached by one of the founders of S and F Athletes, Richard Foster, about a desire to give back to the community by mentoring young people. At first I thought I have no desire and I will not support the organization. Once I found out that the vision for S & F Athletes was created by two strong Christian men whose focus is to mold young men and women into well rounded individuals with passion for education, technology, health and wellness, I knew I needed to support this organization. This is the type of organization that deposits into lives of young people and I am glad to be a part of a radiant light that will shine through our young men and women who will reflect goodness. Thanks S & F Athletes for your drive to make a difference."
Essie F. Foster – "I am honored to be a sponsor of such a well-thought-out organization that provides various assistance and guidance to students who desires to pursue higher education as well as their athletic goals. S and F Athletics is an organization that I stand behind, as it helps youth get more involved in their future, motivate students to pursue high as well as develop life skills that I know would be beneficial beyond the sport."
Danielle Whitmore – "I chose to volunteer with F and S Athletes for the opportunity to share with kids the lessons I've learned and knowledge I've gained in my life experiences. Hopefully, by engaging with and mentoring the kids in this program, I can help them to become better students and work their way towards a better future."
You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve…. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” -- Martin Luther King, Jr.
Tiffany Brooks – "When I was afforded the opportunity to speak to the young people of S and F Athletes, I couldn’t have been more excited! Growing up in a time during my own young adulthood where the entire community took part in your life, I knew as a contributing member of society it was my duty to make a difference in the lives of those that will soon hold the future of our community in their hands. Upon understanding the mission of S and F Athletes, I was compelled to learn more and nurture the program in any way I could. I am thankful beyond measure for not only what I was able to give but also what was given to me. To look into the eyes of our future and to truly understand their current struggles along with visualizing where I could make a difference in their lives is a great feeling. S and F Athletes is a great program and I look forward to seeing it flourish."
